WatWages is a free Chrome extension for WaterlooWorks. It adds pay per hour and an ROI score to the job results table, so you can sort by them instead of opening every posting to find the pay.
Yes. Nothing you look at leaves your computer. The extension reads postings in the WaterlooWorks tab you're already logged into and saves what it finds in your own browser. It has no server, and you don't make an account. It sends anonymous usage counts with a random ID, and never anything about the postings you look at. The privacy policy lists everything it stores.
No. WatWages is a student project. It isn't affiliated with the University of Waterloo or WaterlooWorks.
No. The score comes from a formula that mostly uses pay and applications per opening. The weights are still being tuned, so read a posting before you apply to it.
No. Sorting changes the order of the rows, and every posting stays in the table.
No. It's free, and the code is on GitHub if you want to read it before you install.
Some employers don't put a pay figure anywhere in the posting. The extension shows "Not listed" for those rows.
